3,000 peoples were gathered in the market of chauri chaura to oppose foreign goods.

They started burning the foreign goods on large scale to stop them police started firing on them and three civilians were killed .

Aggressive crowd burnt police station. In this incident 23 police were died .So it is main cause of behind failure of The Non-cooperation movement ..
