The constituent assembly of India was elected/chosen to write the constitution of India.

It was dissolved once we the India adopted our constitution on 26th January 1950. The Assembly met for the first time on 9 December 1946. The last session was held on 24 January 1950. There is no such thing as constituent assembly exist now, and so its members.


There were also many members from state/province who were playing indirect roles.
