The Mysore kingdom was a kingdom that was found in the southern part of India. The successful kings of Mysore were Narasaraja Wodeyar and also Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar. These kings were succeeded by Defacto ruler who is Haide Ali and his son known as Tipu sultan.
In the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War, the forces of the British East India Company were supported by the Nizam of Hyderabad. They defeated Tipu and he was killed on 4 May 1799 while defending his fort of Srirangapatna.
