hello friend here's your answer

the limitations of Newlands octaves were

●The classification did not work with heavier metals like those beyong calcium.

●The 2 elements cobalt and nickel were in the same slot but placed in the same column as the halogens which had very different properties than these elements.

●Iron which resembles cobalt and nickel was placed far away from these elements.

✨ What were limitations of Newland's Law of Octaves? ?

ANSWER :-

✔️ Newland's Law of Octaves was applicable only up-to calcium.
✔️ He assumed that only 56 elements existed in nature and no more elements would be discovered in future.
✔️ Newlands adjusted two elements in the same solt, but also put some unlike elements under the same note.
✔️ Newland's Law of Octaves worked well only with lighter elements.
