After the wars, World War I and II, the black African-American people rose above the clutches of slavery and protested. Though they were not slaves anymore, there were some who were still struggling for freedom.
They migrated to many cities and took jobs under white people. Even though the relation between the two race was not like before, there was still equal hatred between them. White people always detested blacks and the feeling was reciprocated.
But the condition of the black African-American improved and they lived much better lives after war.
