During the period of feudalism, peasants and serfs had absolutely no rights. They lived in miserable conditions. Some of their difficulties are listed below:
-The offsprings would have no freedom to choose their careers.
-They had to follow in their parents' footsteps.
-In spite of their extremely poor conditions, they had to pay various taxes which were imposed upon them by the feudal lords.
