Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq was the Sultan of Delhi from 1325-1351, in which he made several changes in the empire and the way of rule. He was known for his ruthless and consistent way of governing. Due to his policies, he had to face at least twenty-two rebellions. 

His achievements include: 

(i) He annexed several kingdoms around his land/territories. 

(ii) He defeated the Mongols, who attacked the Delhi Sultanate. 

(iii) He shifted the capital from Delhi to Daulatabad. 

(iv) He created federal financial offices to keep check of the financial activity.
