• The goods were carried by truck in some areas and was mostly carried by men and women
• People carried upto 25 kg on thier back and 70 kg in bicylcle

• Women were the main category of porters

• Often efforts to disrupt the supplies in the trial by the US was ineffective as they were rebuilt very quickly
