ARYANS ……Though still debate is going on SUCH questions…..
Before the Britons and Europeans came to India….
WE never knew anybody by such a name or clan or seperate population as outsiders ! We had found the word Arya and Aryaputra in our scriptures, addressed to deities and Rakshas (Ravan) /daitya/Danavas (Bali Chakravarty) - as well ! In our scriptures it was a term mostly meant to be “The Noble one”
And we lived with this (and them) terms as our own!
But Britons and europeans though otherwise! The did some research (?) and came up with a theory that ARYANS invaded (Invasion Theory) from out side
and ruled us like what these people doing ! Yes, they did give some evidencies or proofs - in general this theory AIT (Aryan Invasion Theory was accepted)
This theory, raised some doubts too, especially after the excavation of Harappa and Mohenjodara, because these cold civilization’s ruined cities - did not provide any invasion or fight - instead a peaceful society!
By the time Indian scholars had found evidences to debunk this theory!
So the European researchers softened the term “Invaision “ to “Migration”
(because no evidences could be found for any type of violence) but YET
RETAINING the theme of ARRIVAL from outside!
But, The Indian scholars, did not stay put, they showd more evidences
of Aryans being Indigenous people of India from our own old scriptures!
This gave rise to another theory “OIT - Out OF India Theory”
SO there is no proper answer for your question.
But in all these theories, my personal opinion is -
We have to just LEAVE out the present boundaries. There was NO INDIA (geographical), hence no question of Coming IN or going Out of India!
They were there with us since the time of Rigveda ! This rules out the basic theory of Aryans being outsiders! and perhaps that remains what we used to think previously - just put simply - “The NOBLE ones”
