3 Burmese invasions of Assam was between 1817 to 1826 during which the Kingdom of Assam (Ahom) came under control of Burma from 1821 to 1825.

This period is called the manor din by Indigenous Assamese people and Chahi-Taret Khuntakpa in Meitei is remembered with horror.

The climactic period of 600-year history of Assamese kingdom.

The sharp drop in population due to depredations and emigrations left the erstwhile kingdom in shambles.

Britishers who were earlier willing to colonise Assam came in direct contact with belligerent Burmese occupying force.

After first Anglo-Burmese War they joined Assam and Burma.
