The conflict between the Dutch speaking and French speaking was more severe inBrussels because here, the Dutch speaking people were majority in Belgium but a minority in Brussels. Therefore, the ethnic struggle in Belgium originated fromtensionsbetween Dutch and French community in Belgium.
