  • In the country side , peasants and zamindars were unhappy with with high taxes and inflexible method of revenue collection
  • The indian sepoys were unhappy with their condition and the way they are paid .

  • They they are very intent on reforming the Indians and they believe that Indians were backward
  • in 1850 a new law was passed by the British government that the claim that a person is is capable of taking the land of their in sisters only if they follow Christian religion .
