Major changes brought by Warren Hastings –

• He was the first to appoint collectors from England.

• Setting up civil and criminal courts in India and appointment of Indian judges in criminal courts.

• Reduced pension amount of company servants and made changes to currency

• He established a separate Board of Revenue and appointed British Land Revenue officers.
