during early vedic period the women have no right to speak participate in the social life there have to just work for they family that time men were given more importance than women there were send to wok for there family and participate in social life
during later vedic period the women were slowly stared giving importance after some famous women protested against their right this brought many women to open their wings and enjoy there freedom they were allowed to join in hunting,fishing,lending and etc

Later vedic = in the later vedic age women were generally given a lower position all through women continued to be associated with all regions rites. the rules of marriage underwent a change if monogamy was the ideal, polygamy was the practice at least in higher sessions of society in the polygamous system a women naturally assume subordinate position the practice of widow's marrying Again which was fairly common in the rig vedic age, was now regarded with disfavor but education which some women received was of the high-order the discourses of women philosophers are preserved in the ' Upanishads '
