The main reasons for the declineof Mughals were: Aurangzeb's religious intolerance- Aurangzeb had reimposed the zizya tax over non - muslims. ... Lack Administrative efficiency- Aurangzeb was mostly focused on his conquests and llackedin administrative skills, this lead to the downfall of his empire.
