During the first world war,  soldiers developed many diseases such as trench fever, irritation, and plagues.

  •  Soldiers faced extreme cold weather and many of them died due to weather.
  • They spent most of their time in trenches and there were insects and rats were among them.
  • Lice and rats led to the extreme unhygienic conditions causing dangerous diseases.
