The Bengal Partition was mainly based on the ideology to create a hatred in the mind of the Bengal people. The partition was based on religious basis and had a lot consequences making the ideas of religious inferior and superior among the people. Bengal was a presidency at that time and was a technique to spread the idea of religious inequalities between the people. This was the reason for the formation of West Bengal and Bangladesh.
