As much i know about merchat of venice antinio took money from shylok and signed a fatal bond that if he was unable to return the money within the stimulated time he have to give him his one pound of flesh. He took the money for his friend . Shylock was actually jealous of antonio because he was very famous. Thus his friend didn't ame back on time. That time anyonio's wife said shylock that you can take one pound of his flesh but no blood should come out. It was not possible because if you take out the flesh the blood will come out. Meanwhile his friend came back and handed him the money . Thus antonio was saved by the help of her clever wife
