Assertive Nationalism in India. Assertive(Extremists/Aggressive/Later) Nationalism was the period(1905–1918) in success to Early Nationalists or Moderates. The Early Nationalists failed to attain their objectives, giving rise to this kind of Nationalism.

they were in favour of more radical objectives and methods . they called for strong political actions such as strikes , boycotts (of british  institution and goods ) and mass demonstrate to spread awakening among the people and to achieve political reforms .
