 The religion of the people, the political stance of the people, the language that was spoken, the ecological type of society, the types of goods that were traded, the value of the goods depending on demand and supply, what "money" was used for trading (either other goods, cowrie shells, or coins), and the trade routes that were used (land (i.e. Silk Roads) or sea (i.e. Indian Ocean).
