what were the different ideas of the forester and villagers about a good forest

good forest should be comfortable for living animals and there shall be less polluting conditions the protection of animal should be very high and the we need to grow more trees

1.They approved of shifting cultivation in forests. They felt that forests could be reused again and again by adopting these methods.They regarded shifting cultivation in forests as a harmful    
practise and disapproved of it.    

 2.They practised burning of forests at regular intervals to get fresh and fertile soil.  Burning practise of forests imposed danger of  flames spreading and burning valuable timber.

3.They practised mixed crop production in rotation to produce multiple crops from one plot.They did not believed in mixture of crops.

4.They did not believed in plantation crops.They believed in plantation crops to produce timber in good quantity.

5.A good forest should be able to provide food, fodder and shelter.A good forest should be able to provide timber and not wild life.
