DIRTY TRICKS USED BY PRI

PRI (Institutional Revolutional Party) is a party which wins all elections held in Mexico after every 6 years to elect its president until 2000. Mexico wasn't in autocracy that country was democracy but PRI used many dirty tricks to manage to win. Some of the dirty tricks are:-

• Employees in government office had to attend the party's meeting.

• In government the teacher used to enforce the parents to vote for PRI only.

• Media largely ignored the bad activities of the ruling party instead of that it praised the party's work and caught bad activities of opposition.
• Sometimes polling booths to make people difficult to vote.
• It spend large sum of money in its campaign period.
