What were the drawbacks of rutherford's model​

the draw back of the Rutherford model was that he does not explain about the stability of the electrons....

he said that the electrons move around the nucleus in a circular form but he does not tell about the paths on which the electrons move... so the Rutherford model was deleted or not consider after that one another scientist named bors bhury told about the paths...

Drawbacks of Rutherford's model are as follows-

1. He could not explain the stability of atoms. As according to Maxwell (a Scientist) a charge particle under acceleration will continuously emit energy in the form of electromagnetic waves. So electron should also emit energy and start moving closer to the nucleus by following a spiral path , at the end atom should fall into the nucleu and atoms should be unstable .

2. If electrons are moving continuously than it should emit energies continuously and its spectrum should be continuous but the observed spectrum was discontinuous.

3. He could not explain the arrangement of electrons as well.
