#2•The British even confiscated the lands of old zamindars. This added to the anti-British sentiment.

#3•The drain of wealth and extremely slow pace of industrialisation added to the economic grievances of the people.

1)The british encouraged the imports of british goods to india
2)Many craftsmenand artisans were thrown out of employment.
3) Zamindars and taluqdars were displaced
4) The new land revenue system was
impoverished on the peasants
5)The new plantation system brought misery for the peasants
