Answer:In real sense economic cause gave birth to the number of causes for the revolution of 1857. After 1770 when the spoys (indian soldiers work and recruited under Britishers )were recruited and British nominals were made heads of different states ,the popular discontent started among tha chaotic minds of indian people who were ruled before by mughals that were somehow polite in terms of revenue .
Spoys were paid inadequate salary that could hardly mitigate their family needs ,however their officers that were barely bririshers were paid in ample .Also the spoys were trample down by their officers and were often called as sour, pig etc. Moreover if they were posted out of their cadre suppose state ,they were not paid foreign allownce which results in the big cut of their salary for their own needs and for this money sometimes they had to cross the water that was opposing the religious sentiments of few hindus.
Secondly when the zamindars and administrative officials were replaced by British nominated landlords and officials ,the farmers became peasanrs and we're made to pay revenue more then the half that inversely creted an havoc inside the farmers.
Now let's assume they brought their complaint to the choki and courts, here eithere they were threatened or imprisoned and in some cases officers left no stone unhurled in grabbing the money from these poor people.
So the law and order in the state was completely corrupted due the money that ultimately became fuel for the revolution to break out.
