There were different economic factors that were responsible for revolutionary uprisings in Britain and France

Explanation:

France

A major reason for the start of the French Revolution was the economic crisis in France. France's economic condition was weak because of the colonial wars of Louis XIV, the 7 years war, and other costly conflicts. Throughout the reign of Louis XVI, because of his wife Marie-Antoinette 's   for lavish expenditures royal treasury became empty. To get rid of the present situation decided to impose tax on the Estates General. However, the tax was imposed only on the third estates general ( who was already burdened with financial and social problems) which was represented by commoners. This high tax and unjust system led to revolt by the Third Estate members.

Britain

The revolution in Britain was against the industrial revolution, was in the form of Luddite movement. The Luddite movement originated during the severe economic environment of the Napoleonic Wars, and  the modern clothing industries witnessed a rise in tough working conditions. During the 19th century the Luddites were a "secret oath-based group", a radical movement that destroyed machinery in factories as a protest form. The Luddites were described as people who were aggressively against technological changes and the uprisings led to  putting down the new machinery that was being introduced in the wool industry. Luddites protested against changes that they believed would worsen their lives, which formed part of a new system of markets.
