THE EFFECTS ARE :-

1) it became the second mass movement

2) colleges and schools were boycotted, foreign goods were burnt, peasants refuse to pay taxes and shops selling foreign goods were picketed.

3) thousands of protestors where arrested along with Gandhiji and Jawaharlal Nehru .

4) nationalism spread in all parts of the country

5) a feeling of belonging to one Nation spread among people living in different parts of India .
