what were the experiences of Gulliver when he was pulled up on the flying island
Answers
Gulliver found that the people of flying island or floating island of Laputa looked very strange. They wore clothes on which there were figures of musical instruments, planets and stars. The women were quite free and vivacious. They were given the freedom to do whatever they liked. The Laputians were pre-occupied and forgetful. They had mathematical genius but their houses were not built properly.
The king and the people were good hosts. They treated Gulliver kindly. The king arranged a tour so that Gulliver could see and learn all about the island and its floating nature. Gulliver observed the Laputians closely. He observed the astronomers and got to know their logic. He was not impressed by the behaviour of the Laputians. They behaved in a clumsy manner while performing common actions. His visit to Laputa was less interesting than the other islands he visited.
