Explanation:

Three important reasons why the non-cooperation movement gradually slowed down in the cities are as follows: Whereas mill cloth was cheap due to mass production, khadi cloth was expensive. Hence, the urban poor couldn't abstain from using mill cloth for too long.

Answer:

HII MATE...

the factors responsible are:-

(1) the khadi cloth made in India benefitted the Indian handloom and the Indian textile grew. But, it was more expensive than mass-produced mill cloth and was not affordable by all especially the poor.

(2) similarly, the British institutions imposed a problem. for the movement to be successful, Indian institutions had to be setup so that they could be used in place of the British ones. however they were slow to come up, so- people began joining back school, lawyers joined back work in government courts.

these are the 2 reasons ,why the non-cooperation movement failed.
