Hey mate,

Jinnah was a great ambassador of hindu muslim unity as long as he was a rising star in congress party. However with advent of gandhi and Nehru his preeminent position in congress was eclipsed. He soon discovered that muslims are a separate nation and that they were always discriminated against.
