In the forest act the British government had reserved some area of forest land for particular tribes .This means that any tribe can take benefits from the forest only from their reserved area. This act of the British government had made the tribal people angry. This act had also banned on the shifting agriculture. This led in the in many revolts and movements by the tribal people against the British government.
