2. Kshatriyas(second caste) : kings

3. Vaishyas(third caste) : engages in agriculture, cattle rearing and trade

4.Shudras(lowest caste):they serve the three higher varnas. worked as domestic slaves, agricultural slaves, craftsmen,and hired labourers .
