What were the function of valves present between artria and ventricles ?

Tricuspid and biscuspid valves are present between atria and ventricles in our heart which mainly help to stop the backflow of blood into the atria while pumping it...

Hii..

Bicuspid and tricuspid valves are present in left and right junction of atria and ventricles respectively.whenever cardiac cycle occurs due to closing and opening of these valves flow of blood occurs and hence backflow of blood is prevented..
