Importance of Lahore Session:

Lahore Session was an important event in the Indian National Movement.

Lahore Session was presided by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.

This session has its own importance. As, the Indian National Congress demanded "Purna Swaraj" [ Complete Independence].

They also decided to observe 26th January 1930 as the first "Independence Day".

Indian National Congress also made some decisions in Lahore Session like:

>> Not Participating in Round Table Conference.

>> Launching the second major movement [ Civil Disobedience Movement].

>> Opposing the salt laws framed by British Government etc..
