Though the Green revolution massively increased the crop production but it had various limitations as well. The limitations include :

1.  It developed poisonous weeds and pests.

2.  It polluted the environment and water bodies.

3.  It lowered the prices of crops and thus poor farmers became poorer.

4. It employs Mono-Culturing.

5.  Limited crops was another limitation of Green revolution.
