what were the limitations of manu script & why novel are vernacular??

1.manu scripts were fragile.

2. they were awkward to handle and difficult to read.

3. they were very expensive.

novels are vernacular because of the rights given by the government to censor reports and editorials in vernacular press

1) hard to handle and very fragile
2) can't compete with hand written books
3) cost of copying is higer and takes labour work also.

novels are vernacular for easily readable as compared to formal novel.
