The main reasons of that civil war was as following.
1.At that time Bilsheviks had many enemies like the supporters of Tsar and provisional government , Rovultionaries etc they all hated them because of their steps that they taken.

2.And hence all these groups gathered and cooperate each other to destroy the Bolsheviks ruling.

3 .Secondly, Czech war prisoners not only attacked Moscow but also took hold of Siberian railway.

1.The first reason was that the Bolsheviks had many enemies:

•the Social Revolutionaries (angry because Lenin had closed the Assembly);

•supporters of the Provisional Government;

•supporters of the Tsar;

•army officers (angry that had Lenin had made peace with Germany);

•nobles whose land had been given to the peasants.

These groups co-operated to try to bring down the Bolshevik government.

2.A second cause was the Czech Legion – Czech prisoners of war who mutinied, took control of the Siberian Railway, and attacked towards Moscow.

3.Finally, Britain, America and France, angry that Russia had dropped out of the First World War, attacked the Bolsheviks.   They were afraid because the Bolsheviks wanted to cause communist revolutions all over the world.
