1)DEFENCE EXPENDITURE WAS INCREASED WHICH WAS FINANCED BY WAR LOANS.
2) PRICES BEGAN TO INCREASE DURING THE WAR YEARS WHICH MADE THE LIFE OF COMMON PEOPLE EXTREMELY HARD.
3) VILLAGES WERE CALLED UPON FOR FORCED CONSCRIPTION INTO THE ARMY WHICH CAUSED WIDE SPREAD ANGER.
4) IN 1918-19 AND 1920-21 , CROPS WERE FAILED IN MANY REGIONS WHICH RESULTED IN ACUTE SHORTAGE OF FOOD WHICH WAS ACCOMPANIED BY AN INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
5) ACCORDING TO THE CENSUS OF 1921 , 12-13 MILLION PEOPLE DIED .
6) PEOPLE THOUGHT ALL THESE HARDSHIPS WOULD BE OVER AFTER THE WAR BUT THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.
