what were the means adopted by Ashoka to spread the message of dhamma?

Ashoka adopted the following means to spreads his message of dhamma: He appointed officials, known as Dhamma Mahamatta who went from place to place to spread the message of dhamma. He got his messages inscribed on rocks and pillars to spread the to the common people.

The means adopted by Ashoka to spread the message of dhamma was that after winning the war he saw soldiers dead body ; children were left orphan wife's were widow blood was shedding off from the body of soldiers there was no peace . Then after seeing the side effects of war and un peace he started following Bhuddisim. Ashoka spreaded the message of dhamma by sending his brother in other countries for spreading and educating people about Bhuddisim and it's positive results. He quited doing war. And started a peaceful way of living
