The Gupta kingdom had strong believe in Hinduism.The Gupta Empire was expanded from  northern, central and parts of southern India .  This period is called golden age of the era  because of its its achievements in the arts, architecture, sciences, religion, and philosophy

Following are the merits of this empire-

During this empire  rich reserves of iron  were exported from  South Bihar. This Empire had efficient  administrators .

Indian culture , art,  Sanskrit poetry and drama were  also expanded .

agricultural products, textiles and natural resources were exported which made the empire economically wealthy.

Following are the demerits of Gupta Empire-

Gupta Empire began to fall,when power, wealth made the  rulers very lazy. Huns invaded them and this cause very damage to the Empire. The Huns took over the kingdom and  Gupta Empire ended in 550 CE.
