Lamjung attacked the Gorkha land when the soldiers were not present. This infuriated Prithvi Narayan Shahvery much and he sent his Gorkha army, which defeated the Lamjung army after a fierce battle. He later conquered many little places and protected his empire from the Mughals and the British.
