Saadat Khan is also known as Saadat Ali Khan held 3 offices – subadari, faujdari and Diwani.

Saadat Ali Khan was the suhabdar Nawab of Awadh from 1722 to 1739 and was fathered by Muhammad Nasir.

The Nawab was quite young, precisely 25 when he joined Aurangzeb's forces to defeat the Maratha in Deccan.

He did not join the ranks of Aurangzeb, the Mughal Emperor's army alone; he was also joined by his father.
