Razia Sultana had to face many challenges being an emperor. The main one was of being a woman in the men's world. She faced opposition from the 'group of forty' who were against of accepting a woman as their ruler. The same condition was of the townspeople. The refusal of the nobles and opposition from the people finally led her to a downfall. This was the main reason for her failure as a ruler.
