What were the reason behind mixing up of different cultures in olden times

One of the main reasons for mixing up of different cultures in India during the old times is the advent of Muslims and then the British and other foreigners who came to invade India.

The advent of the invaders in the country brought the people of the country together and united them into one. People came out as a single unit in order to keep their country free from the invading of foreigners.

• The nation is vast and each region has evolved separately due to poor transportation systems. Geography plays an important role in our diversity.

• We have practiced some of the cultural elements so well over the past 5000 years that they are well refined and look superior to us.
