The reason for poverty in India are:-

1) poor political system as the money given to the MPs and MLAs of different

areas do not spend on the well being of poor and do not further send to local leaders like pradhan ,etc. and they cannot do the development.

2) the wages are low for labourers and workers, who make the production and

work hard.

3)shelter , sanitation and education facilities are very poor and most of the poor people cannot afford it and because of lack of basic needs they cannot develop further.( for example- a farmer is working hard and the only one who earn, and his son cannot go to school because he can't afford his school fees and hence work with his father so after some years he cannot develop as he is not educated and can't get a job and their condition is still same as few years ago was )!!!!!
