What were the reasons behind natural disaster. Discuss some more reasons which are responsible for changes of land use pattern?

Natural Disasters are caused due to the human and the natural activities. Most of the natural disasters are caused due to the modification the land by the people for their use. In the past people settled near fertile land to cultivate it. But now we humans have the technology which helps us to control the Earth on our finger tips.
