The main reasons were that British armies were defeated in Germany and Austria. National feelings rose among Russians and they revolted. 4 workers of factory were dismissed in Putilov Iron Works. Other workers assembled in protest of it but they were attacked by Royal soldiers. So the workers became angry and finally they revolted.
