The reasons for the failure of Swadeshi movements could be that every one contributed in swadeshi movements except some peoples and it could be that due to those some peoples the british would have got the power to fight and not fulfil the demands.
Another reason could be the formation of muslim league as another national party. Muslim league was also established in 1907 when surat split also occured and Indian National Congress(INC) splitted into two, The Moderates and The Extremists. Muslim league was formed as a reaction so it had no future goals and it wanted to fight with INC so they didn't contributed in Swadeshi Movements.
