• Numerous social and religious played the role of spark for different communities and religions.

iv). They thought it was made to pollute their society.

i). Because of The general service enlistment act(soldiers were sent outseas without any pre notice), people thought it was for to destroy their culture and religion.
ii). The government imposed tax on buildings like temples and mosques.
iii). The Enfield rifel (in which the cartage covering was made of pig fat and cow beef) was to be loaded by tearing the cartage with mouth. This was against the religions of both Hindus and Muslims as cow is sacred for Hindus and pigs are treated as uncleaned creatures in Muslims.
