What were the subjectson which books were written in the past ? Which of the would you like to read ?

The books were written in three languages, i.e. 1. Sanskrit, 2. Prakrit, and 3.Tamil. The books were dealt with the religious beliefs and practices, the lives of kings, medicine and science. Besides, there were epics, poems, plays. However, the inscriptions were written on hard surfaces such as stones/metals.
